(Differential Geometry Tool)

DiffGeom is an acronym for Differential Geometry. The purpose of this tool is to provide a general framework for calculating the geometric parameters (first and second fundamental forms) for various surfaces described in orthogonal and non orthogonal coordinate system. DiffGeom Tool is one of the activities of CIMEST Research Centre. This code allows the user to experience interactively the differential geometry and its important applications in structural mechanics.
The theoretical implementation of the present software has been performed following the mathematical background presented in the books:
